I recently got the Flex 3401 kit with CCS pads and pad cleaner and conditioner. What's the best way to clean the pads with this cleaner? I spray the pad and soak it in a bucket with warm water then use a Terry cloth to wipe off the residue. Would a brush of some sort help? I also tried the washing machine and it didn't clean the white pad well and it some how tore the Velcro part off my light green pad.
I'd like to get a pad washer eventually but it wont be anytime soon.

Also any tips on cleaning and polishing chrome rims and a Corsa exhaust tip? I also got a sample of BF acrylic metal sealant.

Thanks!

i usually just use my pad brush to agitate after allowing them to soak then spray them off

I run it under hot water and then I take dish soap and work it in to the pad, rinse then I work dish soap back in and sometimes let it sit over night- next morning I will rinse it out. Seems to work well for me.

I've been doing the exact same thing for several years, and it seems to be the best method.

I have a pad cleaner, and still the best technique for me is a simple one. Go to your local grocery store and but a plain citrus all purpose cleaner( the one i purchase is 1 for 20oz). After that as soon as your done detailing, go to the sink and wet the pad, spray the degreaser and let it soak for a minute, next spray some more and using your thumbs just agitate it. Finally, rinse well and make a sandwich with a microfiber drying towel and remove the water. Your pad is a good as new.

Same here. Works the best for me!

I just use some APC, let it sit for a while, rinse and repeat until its clean.
