Best Way To Store Rupes Polishers

How does everyone store their polishers? I left mine in the bag and the 6" backing plate has a slight bend. It had the 7" backing plate facing up not sure how this happend, what are the best ways to store polishers so they dont get damaged.
 
If you look at the tools, you'll see they have a soft rubber tool stand on the tops of the tools. It also acts as a non-slip surface.

I'd suggest resting the tool upside down on the tool rests as this is what they are designed for. Or I've seen these cool wall mounted tool holders that has a slot cut in them where you place the backing plate into the slot and thus the tools are held vertically against the wall.

I've kept mine in the box. Really easy to do when our weather is from -20 degrees to freezing rain last night. Polisher will most likely stay there until late march or April:(

I looked at Stuart's weather and our mid July temps don't ever look like Stuart's mid January. 70 degree lows, I'd be detailing 9pm-7am.
 
x2 with using the box. Don't really need it in the winter months so I pack it away.
 
Sweet Mother of God! I just had an epiphany! I want Autogeek to sell me a lifesize cardboard stand up Mike Phillips Polisher holder. It Mike with two slots by his hands for my polishers.
 
I have a small plastic "Stanley" style tool box I keep 3-4 machines in.
The trick was to find one long enough so you don't bend the electric cord.

As far as those "cool wall mounted tool holders" I really don't have the wall space.
I have tried the tool "bag" approach but I found the plastic tool box works much better.
 
Keep it simple, built in handle, + it comes free with the polisher.

I carry the polisher in 1, and pads in the other.

While I kept the factory Boxes for both my 7424XP and GG-3", I decided to go to wally world and bought 2 inexpensive Stanley Plastic Tool Boxes, one appropriately sized for each machine. Both are perfect for myself for their served purposes.

Within the Box for the 7424XP is plenty of room for also all the Backing Plates I have for it, and little compartments for spare Compression Washers, Spindle Wrench, etc.
 
I have a couple Stanley rolling tool boxes. On at my place, and one at hers.

They hold my PC, pads, some microfiber, clay, compound, Polish, sealant, wax, spray wax, quick detailer, a 32oz bottle of waterless wash, spare plates, PC wrench, dust masks, black nitrile gloves, pad brush, eye protection, ear plugs, tooth picks, swabs, band aids, etc..
 
I really don't have the wall space for the cool wall mounted tool holders. I'm waiting for the ones that mount on a detailing cart.

I keep a Rupes BigFoot LHR21, Rupes BigFoot LHR15, and a Rupes LHR 75E Mini in an inexpensive plastic tool box from Walmart.

The tool box is small and easily fits on the shelf. I've found that with all three machines in the box there is still lots of extra room.
I have polisher bags. They are heavier, a lot mo' money and take up more shelf space. For me, this little tool box is a real winner!

Might get a little intimidating feeling like Mike is in your garage looking over your shoulder when your polishing paint. lol
