Best Wheel Cleaner

Please explain the correlation between PH level and "smell and texture".

You must have Spidey Senses

You can't tell the difference between something very acidic and very basic?

I was right wasn't I

There is no way that I am aware of to tell if something is acidic or basic using, "smell and texture" as you indicated in your previous post.

In fairness, you can tell strongly alkaline products from acid ones by their action on your skin. An alkaline product will saponify the fats in your skin and turn them into soap. The result is a very slick and soapy feeling which can take a lot of rinsing to remove. I should note that, if you are actually experiencing this, you need to rethink your process because this experience is the initial stages of a chemical burn, something you should not be exposing yourself to.

Smell, you can recognise the smell of some acids quite easily (hydrochloric, sulphuric etc) but they each tend to have characteristic smells. Moreover, not all of them have such smells. Bases sometimes have smells but this would not tend to be identifiable at the levels found in most formulated products. The only really obvious exception is an ammonia like smell but the majority of alkaline products would not have this. So it is plausible to identify a product as being a certain acid, maybe possible to identify if it is a base but there is no generic way of using smell to tell if something has high or low pH.

I noticed Flash wax sells malco products. Is is possible Flash is just repackaged malco(sure is odd Flash wax is actually the name of a malco product and has the exact same lightning bolt logo you would think they would have sued flashwax by now to remove it also clicking about us on flashwax page is amazingly sparse on information and reads more like a new store front with no history or pride in their own story)(I have been also learning very quickly that many products from these comprehensive package dealers are not their own I think auto detailing is probably a very notorious industry for repackaging which I've learned looking at chemical guys products on amazon; I'm positive they make none of their microfiber towels and most are really Edgeless microfiber towel from stock towels now who probably makes their new edgeless drying towel as well, as a custom order as it it not yes listed on stocktowelsnow own site(also you can see most of the reason they look so appealing on chemicals guys ads is the way the towels are stacked to look bigger than they are hiding the black edges showing off the matt of the microfiber in a big air poof), still havent been able to source the manufacturer of the cloud9 or sasquatch as they are not listed on this site also you can find the clay block on ali express as well as some products that look like nanoskin(maybe knockoffs)) or mixed or dye added to other malco products? Since this Wheel cleaner is such a good degreaser I am wondering about their other cleaners and degreasers which they have a few of. The Bullseye Leather cleaner seems to have similar degreasing power of brown royal. That post from the manufacturer earlier in this thread is the most insight into the chemical composition I have been able to find. I like others have scoured the internet and cannot find the MSDS. I also think the MSDS listed earlier in this thread is not the MSDS for Brown Royal wheel cleaner.

Out of all the product videos I have seen Brown Royal looks the best(about to spring on it this is my last reservation). Tho I'm thinking about also getting either Ironx 4 liter refill or P21S Gel 4 liter refill also for general iron removal as clay does not remove all of it.
