Whats the opinion of the forum on the best winter protection. In philly they really dont plow, they just lay down enough salt to eat through the earth...so i was curious as to what everyones opinon/experience was with a strong winter paint protector...glaze, wax, or both? and if so, which product have you seen stand up the best?

thanks everybody

601 +105 duragloss with a topper of collinite 845

Collinite 845 from what I have heard. Thats what I am using now. Seems to be holding up good so far.

will pinnacle paint cleanser take all of the duragloss off in the spring time along with clay?

Collinite, Klasse SG, DG 105, Zaino and Jeffs Werkstatt are all very durable LSPs... some have a preference (obviously :)).

I agree with everyone else, except 476s instead of the 845. Both will work, but the paste is more durable.

I was going to say. I have 476S on my vette and on my truck, so far so good, I almost ordered the 845 for the endorsement it's getting :D
Well, in January maybe... :)

ive been doing some additional searching and it looks like 915 is getting strong reviews too...maybe just a little more difficult to remove but people are saying it lasts just as long and you get a nicer shine from it than the 845
