I was sent a sample of an All In One product to beta test. The goal for this product was to remove fairly decent defects while imparting some amazing protection at the same time. The protection element in this formula comes from hundreds of formula revisions to get it right. The product is not coming from whom you might believe either...that's all I am going to say about the source. Here is the bottle that was sent to me:

My test mule was going to be my mother in law's 2001 Sunfire. A car going on 15 years old! I have maintained it for her since she bought it several years ago and have used it as a test mule before. Here is what it was looking like on Thursday:

Check out the big plastic lens here. It looked terrible and was going to get some additional love other than the AIO.

I was on a tight schedule and needed to do this car on Thursday night (and off to my day job on Friday morning), plus I had another car coming Friday after work that needed to be done on Saturday. Sunday I'm going to my first pistol competition for the year, so nothing was going to interfere with that! My garage was barely warm enough to work in:

The paint on this car had some light scratches. I wanted to try a few different pads to see whether it would have the strength to knock them out. I tried a yellow Buff & Shine as well as the burgandy Megs pad. Although it did not remove all the defects, it certainly gave the paint some crazy gloss and magnified the metallic. As far as removing the defects, I'd say only 70-75% of them. Not enough in my book. It is being re-formulated to give it some more teeth. It's using a brand new abrasion technology too, I'm told. The other amazing (and I mean amazing) thing about this product was how slick the paint was the next day!! I walked by it going out of the garage on my way to work and I stopped to feel the paint (how many of us are guilty of that, eh?!?). I was BLOWN AWAY by how slick the surface was! Slicker than UWW; slicker than FK 425. It beat them all. In fact, I would say it was the slickest paint surface I had ever touched.

Oh, and as far as the back plastic piece goes, I used my TB black wool + M100 followed by white B/S + M205 + the beta AIO on a white B/S pad too. I was delighted with how that turned out.

The only downside I could see with this product was how extremely hard it was to clean out of the pads. LA Totally awesome was Totally Awful when it came to try to remove the product. The only thing that would get it out of the pad was paint thinner. You KNOW it's strong when! The pads did come clean after using that followed by LATA to clean the thinner out.

Here is how it looked:

Examination under LED lighting:

Here is an example of a scratch that it didn't remove:

All in all, for an all in one, it shows promise. I am looking forward to the next sample to test. Meanwhile, I've got to come up with another test mule!

Thanks for looking. Comments always appreciated.

Curious as to how you clean your pads with LATA. Full strength?

What is the expected length of protection for this product?

I have same question as above. Its past due that and AIO is offered that offers long lasting protection.
Any idea when this product will release?
To bad you didnt have some black paint to work on to really test the finishing ability
Really interested in this product, thanks so much for putting this together Richy

Another outstanding job my friend!:)
Thanks kindly! I'm just glad the weather is so mild here in December! That's almost never the case. Otherwise I would have had to wait until Spring to test it.

Looks great! Anxious to hear more. Duragloss?
I can definitively tell you that it is not a product that Duragloss will sell. There may be several more versions to test until it's deemed to be ready.

Following!

Mike, I cut it about 33% and even that is with soapy water from my wash bucket. I dilute all my APC's that way.

Don't think so... See below:

I would bet on Americana or CarPro.

By the way, nice job richy! :xyxthumbs:
I don't want to say as the technician designing it doesn't want to be inundated with calls requesting samples be sent their way. I won't share any more on the source as of yet. I'll be happy to when the time comes, I promise.

Kinda Area 51 stuff, interesting
Not really, just trying to protect the source but also share what I think is a very cool product.

What is the expected length of protection for this product?
That's a very good question, but I think you could expect a year's worth of protection form it. I'll be monitoring my mother in law's car to see how it's holding up.

My pleasure. My father's dark blue 4 door pickup truck is overdue for being redone and it would be another great test mule. I'll see about doing it in the Spring with the next version.

Excited to hear more about this product!
Thank you, I was excited to try it!

I will update this thread, or certainly link it when I have more to share. Thanks for your interest.

That product would've been perfect on the vehicle I did this test on.

Essence with boss MF pad, then 2 passes with a (primed) white lc pad before wipe off

I'm curious to know the content in that stuff, since essence isn't any more difficult to clean pads.

Awesome job on the rear plastic! Looks better than new!

I agree with you and am a HUGE fan of Essence! I have no idea what's in it. Nice job with the Essence using the boss mf pads.

I actually tested several polishes on this hood, speed, m205, poor boys ssr2 (all on lc orange pads) and they performed in that order best to least

Thank you for the kind words! I am in love with what essence does! I was anxious to order my 2nd bottle before I was even done doing my first car with it! I have done red, black, white, and some carbon fiber pieces. I have never see cf look anything like this.

I used essence with white pad on the cf, and the plastic pillar pieces.

(sorry to semi thread jack, but I'm impressed by essence and very interested in this product you tested, if another tester is needed I'd be more than happy to do so!)

Subscribed. Will be interesting to follow along and see how the process of refining the test sample works!

Could this be something for the DP/XMT line?
AG doesn't disclose who makes their products, so I will offer no comment on your thoughts.

We're getting closer to Spring, so hopefully something new will come along in time for me to play.

I don't get it ? 75% correction for a all in one is excellent , were you expecting 95% defect removal? If they can Make a polish like that , that would make any other polish old technology . unless that's what there aiming for ? That paint looks awesome for a all in one

Also the burgandy meguiars pad is not good for all in one cause of its closed cell technology .

It gums up and all the spent product rides on top. And doesn't work wet, but splotchy.

A excellent all in one pad is the lake country orange those play nice and work nice and wet with all in one polishes

And i thought i had my product selection figured out. Now i gotta wait and see what this is. Nice job btw
