So let me take you guys back a little over 2 monthes ago, to the date of December 15th, 2015, where at 8:42 a.m. my wife and I were blessed with our first child, a baby girl named Kendall Viola. She weighed in @ 7 lbs 7 ounces and was 19.25" long. My wife did great and its truely a miracle when you hear that first cry, thus letting you know your newborn is here and ready to take on the world. Without a doubt it was the greatest day of my life, everything changes from that point on and for me its quite a change because I'm 46 years old now. I do have 2 other daughters from when I was married the 1st time around but I'm not their biological Dad but I'm their Dad nonetheless. My other girls are 21, Chelsea and Sarah, 20. Chelsea goes to Ferris State University where's she's got 2 more years due to enrolling in a nursing program and my other daughter, Sarah, moved to Arizona to start a new life there. My older daughters are on cloud 9 with the arrival of Kendall.
Ok, here's some pics:
Our first family photo, minutes old here!
My little girl and I!
Her first bed
Precious!
Her first trip to a BBQ restaurant, Real Urban BBQ, during lunch rush and not a peep! This was after her first check up.
Ok, a little background on this pic. So its been said that when a newborn is fussing to turn on the vac and it quiets them down. Well being a car guy I wanted something better, so since I'm subscribed to Petrolicious on YouTube I rememebered the video of the Ferrari 250 GTO doing a 7 minute hill climb and its all V12 sound, so from day #1, in the hospital room, when she got fussy, I pulled up the video and played it right next to her and within 20 seconds she mellowed out. I searched Ebay and found this onesy and since I'm a yellow Ferrari guy I had to get it,doesn't hurt that its also in Michigan colors too (I'm a "Wal-Mart" Wolverine fan)
Sleepin' with her Momma, great pic!
Pretty in pink!
Because of this outfit we've given her a nickname already, its MINTY!
"I mustache you a question!"
Here's one with Kendall, our 2 cats and myself. Note my shirt, its all about the 3 pedal shuffle=======
Kendall smiled at me from day #1, look at this little smirk, just melts my heart every time she does it, never, ever gets old!
Couldn't quite catch an all out smile but it followed this pic.
"Daddy, your car is dirty, get down stairs and use the Wolfgang Uber rinseless.....PLEASE!"
I would like to thank you guys (and gals) for looking at the pics, I'm a very proud Dad and look forward to the future with my wife and Kendall. I'm not rushing her to get bigger but I can't wait till she can help me with the tires and wheels, since those will be eye level with her, so that's where she'll start!
