Better one step polish?

Menzerna PF2500 was designed, as far as I know, to be their "one-step" polish and many use it as that. I also know those who use it as their first step and those that use it as their last. Let me say, I love Menzerna polishes and think they are the best offered.

As many said, do a test spot to determine your process. Keep in mind you can also augment your pad to help with the cut/finish. For example, you can use it with a heavy cutting pad and also with a finishing pad for a second step. That being said, if you used it with a polishing or finishing pad, I think you would be quite impressed with its ability as a one-step polish.

Happy detailing!

1-steps often leave a lot to be desired from both a correction and a finishing standpoint.

Going over the car with a finishing polish like CarPro Reflect will only add 60-90 minutes, and will greatly improve the final appearance. If you are already spending 2-3 hours to correct the defects, an extra 60-90 minutes is will worth it.

I would rather have a glossy, haze-free car with defects - than a correct finish with an average appearance. I am willing to bet that a lot of these "medium" polishes will leave a car with more haze and less gloss than a car that rolled off an assembly line...which is not good.

YES!!! In one test, it finished better than PF2500.

Were you talking about me? ;)
