BF Midnight Sun aresol spray wax

I have no water issues here.
After a foam gun, rinse, foam gun, sponge off, rinse, I use the blade to remove most of the water. This Prius has a solar panel and sunroof of tinted glass so I get to that right away with nice drying towels. Then I spray on a little GG spray wax per panel and use the blue (very nice) towels from GG to dry-off remainder of water (small beads here and there). I can watch it dry up and spread into the paint as I go. I'm just a hack but it works pretty good. Attached 2 pics. I wish I could drive a camera like I drive a Titleist.

Hey Wango, great work there, a Griot's fan too I see, great products for sure! I love those stock wheels on the car, they look like full size, original Hot Wheels wheels!

Yeah. They're pretty nice (from about 300 yards away). Stayed with the stock 15" wheels/covers instead of upgrade to 17" and nicer wheels. The mpg is based on the 15", wanted the mpg. Did get solar roof w-a/c remote cool. More worried about stereo upgrades. Spend most of our time driving the car & can't see the wheels from inside so the stereo better be good. It's all about available funds vs. priorities. With the plastic covers off it's not too bad if I keep the wheels clean. Would like to leave them off and install a satin/brushed chrom ring around the wheel bead if I can find something that fits. Or maybe the irony of flat/aerodynamic hubs, racing hubs (i think). Are your CRZ wheels stock?

Yeah I went from the stockers which were 195/55/16's to a 225/45/17's and still get anywhere from 40-43 mpg in my daily commute, maybe it would be a little better with the stockers but the car looks so much better and really handles better with the current set up, not to mention the tires I'm runnin' (Conti DWS) are better in all conditions. With the stockers I got a best of 44.5 mpg on the freeway, so I'm still happy with my results.

Check Ebay for the chrome trim ring but like I said, I like the "Hot Wheels" look on your car, maybe get a custom Hot Wheels decal made for it:props:

Yeah. If you're not gonna get real good mileage anyway, might as well go with the nice wheels. haha.
Good pics of a nice wheel/tire.
Which tire goo do you use?

Well its surely not going to get Prius mileage for sure but I'm pretty happy with the numbers I get and remember, my hybrid system is a bit different than yours IIRC but as far as hwy numbers go, well, we're pretty close, its that city number I'll never touch.

The tires are Continental DWS and are actually a little lighter than others out there, didn't get them for that reason at all, got them because they kick ass in all weather conditions, especially snow, plus they've got a smooth sidewall too, easy to apply tire dressing.

Just a little FYI, my 64 mile commute to and from work is 25% city and 75% freeway and we had 3 straight days of 100+ and the fourth day was almost 100, all other days were over 90 and that tank of fuel netted me 41.3 mpg too, using the "old school" method of figuring too and FWIW I'm also on Fuely, just got a smartphone, finally, so that's why I've only got 2 fill-ups on there if you check it out.

Getting the MPG you do is fantastic!
We went from a 16 MPG unit and now think we're the cat's ass.
My GF and I are in our mid 50's so our car needs have changed.
The hatchback thing fit's our rapidly slowing lifestyle.
I think it's great to have a car that looks as hot as yours does AND get amazing mileage. Glad you're not sending big oil & the mid-east guys any more money than you have too.
Those are very good numbers for that weather. Way to go.

Thanks for the compliments on my ride, its greatly appreciated but as far as not sending more of my money to big oil goes, well, that's true enough with my car but I didn't get the car only because of mileage, I got the car because I like the entire package, the hybrid thing is a nice bonus IMO.

Now as far as "big oil" goes, well, I appreciate them greatly and here's why, they provide those large aluminum cans flying around above us everyday with the fuel to stay in the air, usually carrying VERY valuable cargo...people! They also carry good, like our AG orders for instance, then are put into UPS/FedEx/USPS vehicles that use their products as well. You see, there's a huge demand for "big oil" and their products, can't see any planes or large ships running on the sun or wind anytime soon and I know this, I don't wanna be the guy to try a hybrid powered airplane anytime soon....DRILL BABY DRILL!

Who would you blame for bad directions..the consumer?

Wait, what?

I just followed what was written on the back of the can, period. I should know better for sure but there's people out there that are super noobs and if one of them were to get one of those cans, well, they'd do the same thing for sure, I just followed the directions, that's all and a couple pages back I said as much that I didn't use common sense but when you've got a product out there that's aimed at everyone, well, you've gotta be crystal clear, that's all.

To answer your question, the mfg is responsible for the directions, not the site here or those who help run it, why would you even say that:confused:

Now to be clear, this product works well and produces the results for sure, I'd buy it next time I need a caranuba and I will infact do just that!

Yes. I agree. Xlnt choice for overall package.
Drive it like you stole it and keep it shiny!

Lets see...
- $16 for one can,
- one can will do "3-4 cars" when used correctly,
- the directions caused you to use an entire can and you didn't finish your small car,
- it's a aerosol.

I have used my UQW ($11, 15oz btw) about half a dozen times and I still have 1/2-2/3 of a bottle left at least.

Thanks for the review! I certainly know where my money's going!

I have done 2 cars and one suv so far with BFMS spray wax. by the weight of the can I can tell I still have over half of the can left. I bought 2 cans when it came out. The 2nd one might be collecting dust for some time. I have used UQW durability is night and day differ.

Would you be willing to trade that other can of BF aersol spray wax for a used bottle of Griot's Best of Show, drop me a pm.
