I have BF Wet Diamond and BF Midnight Sun Paste Wax - going to do the "fire and ice" treatment to the black Camaro.

I have a ton of Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam and that's what I'll do traditional washes with. The hose isn't easy for me to drag out all the time (I live in a townhouse,) and I never drive the car in bad weather, so I've got a bunch of rinseless washes (ONR, CG's, DuraGloss's, and Mequiars's new one.)

No matter how I wash the car, I plan on using an instant detailer or spray wax after each wash - just feel like it gives it that just waxed look and I catch any spots that my drying technique didn't get perfectly clear...figure I should stay in the BF line - I see they've got BF Midnight Sun Instant Detailer and BFWD Polymer Spray. Any thoughts on which one I should buy/use for the purpose I have in mind?

In between washes (i.e., if I want to shine the car up during the week,) I'll be using Ultima's Waterless Wash since I can use a ton of product without feeling guilty because it costs so little when you buy the concentrate. I won't be using the instant detailer/spray wax after the waterless washes...

My guess is that the Midnight Sun Instant Detailer is the one I want (since the Midnight Sun Paste Wax is going to be over top of the Wet Diamond.) But I basically don't know anything and one of the things I worry about is all of these products are trying to shine the car up with different chemicals...doesn't seem like they could all be compatible and give the best look and best protection.

Thank you for any thoughts you share!

Instant detailer for sure. You already have carnauba on top with midnight sun, so stick with it in the spray form(instant detailer has some carnauba in it). The polymer spray is like a sealant spray.

I'm not going to use it as a drying aid...going to use it after I'm done drying. I guess I feel that a big benefit of the instant detailer/spray wax after the wash is to go over the spots that I didn't dry real well.

Check my edit on post #2.

the polymer spray is not recommended to be used as a drying aid. just fyi. should be used on dry and clean paint.

This is something I've been wondering about also. According to the labels, both products will work over Midnight Sun wax.

I'd like to know if anyone has experience as to which product does a better job of reinforcing the Midnight Sun look?

I've used the poly spray over the MS Wax about every other wash just to amp up the shine again. I really love the look.
