BF one step verses neglected Honda

Worked on my daughter's 2007 Honda Civic yesterday using BF one step and can't say enough about how good it came out.

It was my first time using BF and second time using a da polisher so my Technic did nothing to help it, probably hindered the capability of the product.

Washed with Meguiars wash plus
Bar clayed using Uber rw and nano 7x7" towel
BF using LC white thin pro pads and PC polisher

Hope the pics do it justice.

The first three is after bar clay.
The middle pic is passenger door up close hope it shows what I seen.

The other pics is finished product.
Daughter, wife and myself are very happy the way it improved the paint.

I felt like this car put BF to the test as it was much more than a few swirls.

The last pic is the front hood that slopes off kinda steep so it reflected me, the garage and the cloudy sky.

I like it.

What sort of arm speed did you need to use to achieve these results? Thanks for sharing.
 
I would say med arm speed and 8 passes per section.
This was a little over 4 hours of buffing

I wish i had taken another close up of the passenger door.
Not too good at taken the right pics to show what i want to show.

The before and after was dramatic.
 
Nice turnaround. I've recently become a believer in BF One Step

It gives you a good feeling to be able to do that for your daughter, too.

Great work and write up and pictures!

That really cleared up and got a depth a mile long.

A little trick with the phone camera is to use the flash and about a feet away of the car and take the picture. This useally show you as you where useing an inspection light. And is fun to have the before and after pictures of the work you do.

At 66 years old in July I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks.

I always liked to keep my cars clean, regularly wash and then wax a couple of times a year.
Two years ago discovered bar clay and thought that really upped the game but this machine
polishing is crazy what you can do.

All you lurkers out there who might be a bit intimadated throw your hat in the fray and
have at it. With all the great products out there you really can't go wrong.
Main thing is to just do it.

Plus 1 for BF One Step... I just used it on a black Taurus recently and I was surprised at how much of a difference it made, especially since I only put in a half-hearted effort (company car, and I was bored at home). Problem with BF is that it comes in such a big bottle, i’ll never use it all up, so I have no excuse to go buy another product to try... and there are sooooo many out there that are tempting me.

If too much product in the bottle is a problem you could do what I did.
Let it slip out of my hands which broke the top of the cap off and shot a big wad across the garage floor.
At $40( 30 on sale) a bottle I caught myself tearing up a bit. LOL

Even though I had used almost every power tool known to man, I was a little unsure about using a polisher on my (then) brand new truck.

Not even 5 minutes in, I was kicking myself for being so unsure. It's not only easy, it's fun too.
 
Sorry Sports Fan but that was 12 years ago and she has no idea what it is.
I'm sure a good reputable window tint shop can set you up. Good luck
