bfwd vs four star paint sealant

Now you're starting to lose me...I've used the WG sealant 3.0 whatever and it seems different to me. Appears to be different. Maybe similar end results, but the BFWD makes my black blacker. The UPP I've never opened the bottle, so I can't opine on that yet.
 
I haven't seen a difference, actually Wolfgang and UPP have same color and smell, so I don't think there is much seperating them.
 
Theres more to a sealant than just its color or thickness and smell when it comes out of a bottle. Each formula is indeed different, although they may share some ingredients, but each does have some differences in their final look and application/removal. I find UPP slickest and brightest. Wolfgang is a bit warmer and wax looking. Blackfire is extremely glossy. I suppose its like waxes with nuiances that may not be quite as notable unless using back to back or side to side.

Aren't the PBMA products made at AutoGeek in Stuart Fl. I was under the impression from the tour video they have that they actually blend, label, and package all their stuff there???

I suspect they are all made by premium car care in florida who makes UPP and sonus, the sealants that is. I wonder if menzerna sealant is made there too.

I have used them both and like them both. I currently use bfwd on my customer details since it is very user friendly. I used upp on my own cars and wouldn't hesitate to use either. I feel that bfwd is a little crisper and glossy while upp tends to make the finish pop.

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but I was reading another thread that was talking about sealents, glazes and waxes and am confused. I have Megs Show Car Glaze #7. Can I thow that over the two coats of Pinnacle Souverne and expect to an increase is shine, even though it will be short lived ?

That's the idea, although my experience with #7 and souveran is that souveran may outshine 7 on a clearcoat or be just as good. But anyway you've got the right idea just not so sure about your product choice.

I think that souveran has a lot of oils and fillers, so I would just put another coat of that on before the show. I believe #7 is meant for single stage paints? Maybe something like black hole glaze instead? I've used that one my black car and didn't notice any difference from another coat of souveran.

Be certain to follow application with a coat of top-quality wax

According to the product description its designed to go on before any sealants or waxes. Might risk removal of your fresh sealant or wax if you try putting it on after.
