i finished this truck on Sunday July 10, 2011.
the clear was very soft & frustrating to work with to say the least!

the guys wife thought she was doing a good thing when she took his truck to get detailed at the car wash! this is as bad as it gets!

Looks great!!! How did you get all that dry wax and compound out of the letters?

So you're trying to tell us that it's not a good idea to let the guys at the car wash use a dirty wool pad on our black truck? But it's so much cheaper than taking it to a detailer! ;)

Nice turnaround!

excellent work, what was your time to detail it? I guess a few days.:dblthumb2:

Great turn around.
Always look forward to seeing the reflection shots.
My favorite two: hood shot/cinderblock wall
and the L-R quarterpanel/cinderblock wall.
Thanks.

glass cleaner & a bunch of toothbrushes & prob a few other tricks that im maybe forgetting about. i wanted to remove all of the badges bc they were so ugly & already burnt & peeling. looks like plastidip was used.
thanks!

no need to worry about taping rubber moldings as well, burn them & then collect $ from the customer(not serious lol), thats the car wash ways, unreal!
thanks!

hard to clock the hours bc i jump from car to car. i took it in on that friday & finished it up sunday morning. worked on a bunch of cars during that time including another black truck that you can see in one of the pics. when i get a big job like this i spread the work out over a few days as not to loose whatever small piece of my mind i still have left!
thank you. :xyxthumbs:

thanks! ha thats ugly concrete patch. had to cover up the purple & grey. i decided on "earth tones" so my cabinets are all flat brown lol! the walls right now are all white but i cant keep the bottom 2ft clean so i have to change that up!
