First Thanks to Nick and Autogeek for 3 great drying towels. In a nutshell they come in 3 sizes 40X28, 26X18 and 18X18. VERY thick, total of 1200 GSM.

Decided to test the 18X18 first, was curious how much water it could hold before maxing out. Test mule was the trusty company Van, 2014 Dodge Caravan coated with Optimum Gloss-Coat few months back. Washed with 2 bucket method leaving as much water as possible to really give it a test. No drying aid, just Big Blue

The small towel actually dried the entire van without ever wringing out excess water. The only knock I have is it did not seem to dry windows or chrome very well, will probably keep a small waffle weave handy for that. Next time would use the 26X18, the smaller one was just about maxed out on the van.

Next decided to try the 40X28 on the wife's black TL, has a recent coat of WDGPS. Did a rinseless wash with Uber, using the towel to dry using the blotting method. Just laid the towel on the top and every bit of the water was absorbed, virtually no blotting. The 40X28 became cumbersome trying to dry the sides so switched to the 26X18, made quick work of drying off everything. In the future plan on using the 18X18 on the side panels, just little easier to work with and plenty absorbent.

Last test just out of curiosity put 3 gallons of water in a bucket and dropped in the 40X28. Lifted it out and let it drip back in the bucket for 30 seconds or so. Bucket had just over a gallon of water remaining. That puppy soaked up almost 2 gallons of water.
Have used nothing but waffle weave towels for years, dating back to Wayne's towels back in the day, up to my current go to the Guzzler. Nice towels but no comparison to Big Blue.
