1. I have washed and dried tonight so all should be good in the morning. My ride is a 2008 White Nissan Titan.

2. I will be using the Pinnacle Series II kit which I plan to use the Paintwork cleansing lotion first, then the Wolfgang 3.0 sealant and then top with Pinnacle Series II. The deal here is: I have 3 pads w/ my PC; white which is usually used with a polish and I plan to use w/ the cleansing lotion, red pad which is usually used w/ a glaze but no real cutting action so I plan to apply the 3.0 with this and then a black pad which there again has no cutting action and will apply the Series II with it. I have a new car, been washed 2 times by me, very little in the way of swirl marks. Is it okay to do the steps above as I have described? My pads are older (but only used twice) and don't match the current charts from Lake Country.

3. I also have a vac and blo. I was using it to blow off water in tight spaces tonight and the main body got extremely hot. Was it b/c I was using a smaller tool to focus the air stream therefor it worked harder, or what? I mean, after 5-10 minutes, I couldn't touch the body of the vac by hand!

I know this is a lot, and I have done plenty of reading but sometimes it's reassuring to ask again.

I dont know if the paint lotion is strong enough to remove swrils. After your done take it in the sun and see if it corrected it. Sure dont want to see you apply a sealant and then find out that the swrils are still there. What kind of blower do you have? Just doesnt sound like its working properly. Sears or Wal Mart has a blower (150mph) for around 30 bucks. The rest of your procedures sounds right.

#3. Could be the extension cord if you were using one. The longer the cord or the larger the electric motor (machine) the larger gauge cord you need. If it's too small the motor will get hot.

Good call Jimmie, he should plug it directly into the outlet and see if it gets hot.

paint cleanser lotion is a chemical based cleaner with light filling, not really all that abrasive.

my vac and blo does the same thing. if you use the air condenser the motor has to work harder to push the air out of the smaller hole. i take off all attachments and it start to cool down immediately. i am also using a 6 gauge drop cord to it so the cord is not the issue.

Definately a good call. I will run a little test and see, although my cord should be sufficient. I don't recall right off what the gauge is.

As evidenced by the still present but diminished swirls. I used a pad that was a step more agressive than a finishing pad so that didn't do much either. Since it is a new car, there aren't that many swirl marks. All the same, I will take care of it next time around and use something with some grit to it. I have applied the cleanser lotion and the WDGPS and WOW it does better than expected with the white paint. I plan to put on the Series II stuff tomorrow a.m.
