Big Time Giveaway!

1st post here on autogeek, been lurking for a couple months now. I agree that a traveling detail fest would be ideal. Hard to get to Florida and would love to attend. I purchased a gg a few months back completed 3 vehicles now. I really enjoy the transformation polishing makes. Wish I could make it to this years. Work and family prevails!

Never been there but I would love to be around other like minded individuals and enthusiasts.

I agree with most that it should travel. Obviously im not the only one who would LOVE to go but the location is the only thing stopping me. On that note maybe an award/prize/giveaway for farthest traveled to attend, if it doesnt already exist.

Never been to detail fest. But I would love the opportunity to meet other detail freaks that share the same passion, I'm sure the day will come.

Would AG ever consider a west coast version?Like in SF, San Diego or LA? That would be awesome.

Due to the distance, I've only been able to make a "virtual" visit, but I'd sure like to be there in person. My biggest desire would be to attend or participate in some instruction from Mike. I've watched his streams, tutorials and commercials, but actually looking over his shoulder or having him looking over mine would be a whole new level of learning.
After that, my wish list would be to chat with the reps from the companies whose products I use or want to try, as well as the AG staff members who I've come to know thru their posts. Meeting fellow AG'ers locally has always been a pleasure, so the ability to meet with others over dinner or drinks would be great fun.
Last but not least, I'd like to personally shake Max's hand in appreciation of what AutoGeek has become. Events like Detail Fest are a tremendous expense and effort for any company. In this era of cyber-marketing, cut-and-paste product descriptions and minimal customer service, AutoGeek is a large worldwide organization that still gives any customer large or small the comfort that you would usually obtain only from your local neighborhood store.
Best wishes for another successful Detail Fest!

Bill

I'm going this year for the first time! Wrapping it in with a Disney trip for the family. Looking

forward to it!

As BillyJack and others mentioned it before, shaking Max's hand is a dream to come true, virtually if possible and enjoy new products coming out in 2014. Love and cheers with AG :)

Although not able to attend detail fest it has inspired me to try and set up another local detail day of our own though! We started a thread and things are starting to pick up for sure. The location was offered by a fellow AG member and with so many noobs to our area its a chance to put a name with a face, learn new things, try new items, talk inperson about detailing and AG and grow as a detailing enthusists. It has also turned into a mini carshow as well, who doesn't like that:props:

I'll be making the virtual visit this year. This event is something that I am dying to attend. One day it will happen, until then all I can do is dream...

I would just love to see a detail fest come our way here in eastern Ontario, Canada. I am sure it would grab a lot of attention.

It would be great to meet in person all the AG folks we interact with on the forums. Haha at Ray's "more food trucks". I'm with him on that. :-)

Never been to detail fest, but I would like to go one day if work allows me to! I love the "how to" videos that you guys have!

What I like most about Detail Fest is the concept, what a great idea and way to get people interested in detailing cars together and showoff some great products and cars. What I like least is the location. It's too far away for me to go there without some serious planning. What I would like to see in the future...Detail Fest Road Show, take it on the road to various locations around the country that would give more people a chance to go that is a reasonable distance for a one day or weekend road trip. IF that already exist, then I guess I missed out.

I sure wish I would be home to go to my first Detail Fest! Ohh well. At least I'll be back in Stuart for the 2015 one!

I would give anything to be able to go to Detail Fest! I hear it is where the gods of detailing take a moment to teach us mere mortals.

I love that detail fest is broadcasted online! I've been a lurker on the site for a while but during detail fest, I always keep a live stream going at work.

I would love to see detail fest go mobile! Bring it to NY, Chicago, California.

I enjoy pictures of vendor booths. Would be nice to do video interviews with vendor reps as it's an opportunity to put vendor names to faces. Maybe get them to spill the beans on upcoming product releases or high level discussions on what new products are coming down the pike.

Gives me a chance to see, touch, feel etc. Just can't get that from looking on line. Also get to see people that I've talked to for years.
