Greetings all:

Wife's car gets bombed with bird droppings 2-3 times a week while parking at mall parking lot. I can't wash car daily to remove droppings, especially in Chicago winter. Any recommendations on what should I do to remove droppings between washings would be greatly appreciated.

First :welcome:
Many carry a bottle of "quick detailer" and a microfiber towel. Just make a little dam around the bbomb with the MF and then spray liberally with the QD. Let soak a minute to soften it and then wipe-up.
Poorboys Spray and Wipe works well too.

Thanx for the response. Will pick up some PB q-detailer. Car gets nailed in 15-20 areas each time, so I may need to get a few bottles!!

Also, make sure you have a good LSP to protect the paint. 845 comes to mind.

I keep a WG detail spary bottle with a MF in my trunk. No matter the protection on my car I have two spots, one on the hood and a very small mark on my front fender where bird droppings have etched the paint.

Thanks all for the advice. Tough to keep car clean when parked in geese fly zone.....

get a detailer or Poorboys Bug Squash. Move some to a small travel size spray bottle. Put that and a MF towel in ziplock in car. Make sure wife knows she is responsible also to remove as quick as possible.

I use DP Waterless Wash for the bird droppings. Works great! Just let it soak for a min or two then wipe with a microfiber towel
