Bissell Little Green ProHeat

Does anyone know the main difference in the bissell auto care and the LGM? I see the auto care version has 9 amps and looks like a more automotive specific crevice tool. Are those the only differences, besides that the auto is black instead of green? Thanks anyone who can give a little feedback.:)

I think the unit is awesome. There's much better cleaning solutions out there than the bissel sample. Pre-treating is a must, then extract. Works great for me.

I agree. A good upholstery cleaner will make all the difference.

What I have seen and researched is that the Bissell pro heat and the auto version are the same with its internal workings and specs. I think that marketing is the only diffirence.

Guess I'm going to break down and get me one of these. Car wash funds mighty low after spending $650 here at AG. But with so many pre-treaters, like everything else, hard to choose........cause they aint cheap !!

from a different thread I posted this for a good pre treatment that seems to work well also with a low budget:

"I have used a very light combo of Dawn (one cap full), Simple Green (one cap full), and Wolite or Folex (one cap full) in a 32oz spray bottle filled with HOT water; spray it on let it sit about 10 min the aggitate mist a bit more on let that sit then aggitate and extract that seems to work amazing."

Haven't seen this one mentioned. Found it this morning looking in a buy/sell bulletin. Found a used one for $300 with auto tool attachment and an 18 foot hose !!

Opinions ? Experience ?

I've used the bissell pro heat for around 2 years now and it has done it's job. I can agree that it is a POS when it comes to real hot water extractors, but if your only detailing as a hobby then it is usable.
