it took 5 min. lol and then about 3 min. filing the DBA. ill do it for you if you want. super easy. Go to the tax office in your area. that was $22. then 60 for the DBA

you may want to check. I filed all my paperwork online. I'm in PA though. Only took about 10 minutes online and didn't have to go anywhere.

What was the $100 for? I know to file the DBA paperwork it's ~$20 depending on the county filing fee and the form they require.

Good luck. Its A LOT of work and takes time to build up. Then again if it was easy (as some think) then everyone would be doing it. Then again it seems like everyone is trying to start a detailing business. How long have you been detailing? Where are you located at?
:iagree:I work a fulltime job and run my detailing business on the side. I detail all day Thursday & Fridays & in the mornings before work. It's not easy work but I have the Passion to do it! Treat everyone with respect,be punctual,do Great work. Learn the trade, ask questions. If you are not sure you can do the job correctly don't take it! If you have questions contact me I'll help if I can!

100$. i only did a dba for now. LLC is next. totally worth it, to keep the IRS away

You don't need to start a business to claim income on your taxes. The IRS doesn't care how you make the money, as long as you report the income you make. It is beneficial to have a business though, since you can write off expenses on your taxes, thus lowering your taxable income.

22 for the tax office here in my area and 60 for the Dba. So 88$ sorry.
