Bizarre crystals on car...

Not sure whats going on, but the past two days there have been white crystals on the paint. Up to 2-3mm in size. Mostly on the deck lid. They look like sugar. There's a bunch of them trapped under the spoiler. They're kinda stuck to the paint when I run my hand over the deck lid
No, I didn't taste them.

Only time I’ve seen similar in my car is when driving on wet/salty roads. The water beads up and runs and at the edge of panels salt crystals remain.
