Black 1990 Skyline GTR get a showcar detailing!

Thank you guys !! I took approx. 25 hours for the paint + 3 hours for the car show prep + approx 15 hours for the engine polishing/303 protector and shampoo + 2 hours for polishing each volk racing wheel ( inside the wheel and outside). Remember the wheel are 14 yr old!

There's also a lot of money involving in this detail !

Love that car! Hey I noticed you used LC CCS pads on your Rotary, aren't those shown designed for PC's? I didn't see a hole in the middle of the pad like most rotary pads. Or does it not really matter using those pads with the Rotary? Because I own the same pads on my PC but I was wondering if they work also on my rotary? Just wondering.

wow! great write-up. enjoyed the videos and all, congrats for the show and shine win

WOW, I'm verry happy to see that the AG staff enjoyed my thread !!

it's a rb26. twin turbo, more powerful than the 25 thanks for the twin setup. this car, IMO is in the top 10 of best car of all times. the Skyline is way more epic than the Supra or RX7.

I'm tired from just looking at all the work you put into that. Looks amazing!

The car looks GREAT, but it seems like there was a lot of unneeded work performed on this. I've seen some THRASHED paint, and never once has it needed 5 steps to get back to perfect condition. Again, the car looks awesome, but I think you could have gotten the same results in a lot less steps/times.

OHH I thought like 3 days to accomplish this. I had some rest and I'm young and in shape so it's all cool for me :P

Your propably right, but was the result here? Yes. so as long as it's working who cares how much step is taken ?

At the same time, 18 more months later under my belt, I could possibly not do the SSR2.5 step and still have the same result. I think this step wasnt as needed.

But a 3-step is MINIMAL. Some will do, compound, intensive polish, fine polish and jeweling + glaze. that's 5 step and I think it's right to do so.
