Just started doing mobile detailing and got my first black vehicle. I was pretty stoked for this so I could test my skills.

I went as aggressive as I could with what I have if I had just a bit more pad or maybe a bit more aggressive product I could have really made a difference. Thoughts and opinions?

It looks good But the "if I had just a bit more pad or maybe a bit more aggressive product I could have really made a difference" statement? You should ALWAYS have the tools you need for the job and it should be that far left field item that's the only thing that gets you. Not that you didn't have a pad or polish to do the job. It's like saying "If I only had that lug wrench I could have changed that flat tire"

Now that said, looks good and I'd assume based on the pic that the customer is happy, but take the experience and learn from it?

I understand what your saying and thank you for the advice. I just started out doing this a couple of weeks ago so I'm still feeling out what is possible with the tools I have right now.

The customers is quite pleased with what I have done so far. I should mention that the vast majority of the people around here don't expect car show level detailing. They just want it better than it was. I could have probably gone in there and washed and waxed it and been good but my conscious gets the best of me. And I look at it as a nice challenge to see just how good I can do this.

Yeah, truck looks great. Which can be tough because that's a lot of real estate to polish! Not trying to bust your balls, more trying to save you from that customer that will do it eventually (whether it's deserved or not usually)
