Well, it's officially not winter anymore. As such, I'm correcting the paint on John's (my roomates) car. This winter was rough on the car, between getting hit in the parking lot, brushing off snow with a brush and just overall shitty roads this car needed some help. I only did 3 panels today (drivers side rear door and 1/4, and trunk lid) I'll do the rest thru-out the course of the week
Process
Wash car using Zaino's Show Car Wash
Dry vehicle using forced air and the absorber
Put the lights on the car to see what we were working with
What we're dealing with (I'm set up for a 50/50 picture)
More
Process
Meg's 85 on an Orange CCS pad at 1800-2000 RPM (3-4 passes)
85 with a white pad CCS at 1500-1800 RPM (3-4 passes)
Ultrafina on blue Ultrafina Finnessing pad 1200-1500 RPM (3-however many it takes passes
Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax
After first pass with the orange pad
Getting better
Still getting better...
50/50 after the orange pad
Afters
I'll get to the rest of the car eventually later this week and then I'll post up final pictures
Thanks for looking
