So guys after spending the last couple months working on my families cars i felt comfortable enough to charge someone for a detail, although i think i undercharged bigg time, it was a good friend of mine and it is afterall my first PAID detail. Let me know what you guys think....Sorry about the before pics, because of the water restrictions down here i was washing the car practically in the dark and was only able to snap a few pictures of the dirty truck.

Products used:
-NXT wash
-XMT 3 (On scratch pictured)
-XMT 2 (On rest of the car)
-XMT 1
-XMT Glaze
-Collinite 845
-DP Tire gel
-DP Total interior cleaner
-megs degreaser for the tires

I think that about covers everything, anyways on to the pictures.

The Scratch (which by the way the owner told me another detailer told him that he couldn't remove, which made me feel even better about removing it:awesome: )

So you got that rain storm that came in? Walked out of my office tonight and it was like a mini Hurricane.

lol ya it came in around 4 or 5 pretty serious stuff...but we needed the rain.

Beautiful work there! Gotta love that clear as day Ford paint, no orange peel at all. How much did you charge? If you don't mind me asking....

Actually, there is some orange peel if you look really closely...you can notice in the scratch pics...umm i charged a cheap 80 bucks...

Very nice detail, that is a big truck. That is cheap, but then again it was for a friend. I know the feeling.

In one of the pictures it looks like you had polishing products all over the place...that is sweet.

Thanks for sharing, really good job and the paint looks good.

Lol ya products all over the place...i had to bring them in milk crates in my car along with the vac and buckets. All in my 2 door honda accord...actually you can see it in some of the reflection shots...suprisingly everything fit in the trunk. I really gotta work on keeping all the products together while i'm working...but i just get into it and start throwing stuff all over the place.lol

It's all good I do the same in side my garage, if you walk around the vehicle I'm working on you'll find products all the way around. But I bought a little cart to keep things organized for me.

Great start!
That was your graduation test for sure. Great job, and good luck!

That is some awesome work and YES $80 was a bargain for that entire truck!!!

Congratulations on your first paid job! You did great work on that black Ford! Very nice reflections and minimized that scratch very well!
