Well, I had a detail to do on the black 330i that was in pretty good shape. Just had some light swirls and needed the finish brought to black depth again. I decided to give Menzerna IP a go since I've never used it before. I'm impressed! It polishes down very nicely (yea...it's dusty..but so are most polishes). I used the Metabo rotary and the Festool where needed with polishing pads. I've become a fan of the Meguiar's So1o pads and backing plate. The pads also fit the slightly larger backing plate on the Festool perfectly.

Here's a couple of before shots. I didn't have a ton of time for picture taking like I do at the shop and it was clouding up during the detail. In fact, it sprinkled rain when the customer picked up the car.

Before's

After's. Following the Menzerna, I used XMT 360 and a top coat of Souveran. Nice combo with a sealant then a carnuba.

Nice work Toto. That Bimmer came out awesome. I guess your full time detailing is starting to pay off...:awesome:

Very nice Master Toto, sounds like you enjoyed using Menzerna. Very nice turn around on the vehicle, looks very nice :righton:

Thank you for sharing.

Nice job there Toto..at least this one was not quite so challenging..a little break for ya! Great results as always though.

Gorgeous, great work on the wheels too! Those look like they're not the easiest to clean!

Great job as always! XMT360 and Souveran looks good on that!

wait, after the menz you use xmt360 as a cleaner/sealant? I didn't know 360 is a mild sealant, topped with souveran? Wow.

Great job! (honestly, you're one of the guys whos work I always love looking at)
