Black Camaro '12 - Hood trashed by dealership

2012 Black Camaro, needed some extra care.

Hood was repainted on the dealership due to some failure on the paint. Has been badly polished and as expected, lots of swirls came as a "bonus". Actually, the swilrs were so intense that they were hiding some defects left by the painter when resprayed the hood.

Upon arrival

Wheels carefuly washed

Pre-wash

Washing

Decontamination

Paint mapping.
All readings ranging around 150 - 190 microns. Hood, 200+ microns due to respray

Polishing

Hood 50/50

Still can't believe that dealerships are allowed to touch a rotary.... Should be illegal. Again, great save man! I love the PTG readings you do.

Once I figure my PTG out I'm definitely going to copy your routine of going over each car you detail and recording the results. Very cool.
