The car is busting my chops! First, I removed the entire front end clear bra.....3 hours of careful work. Then, started polishing the car without a lift. Now, the front end is probably 2" from the shop floor. And, it has to be perfect because the owner is having another clear bra installed when I'm finished. The car has the usual swirls...so a lot of time was spent laying on the cold shop floor polishing. I need to steal that Snap-On lift from the BMW shop!

After removing the clear bra material, this is what the finish looked like...no wonder the owner wasn't happy with the appearance!

I'll start attacking this tomorrow:

Then, I'll have some full car pics to display. The interior will be easy. This is a streetable race car and door panels are carbon fiber + rubber floor mats...very basic car interior-wise.

Man I need to get me some menzerna! and your skills!

God I want a 360 CS so bad it hurts.

beautiful car, horrible befores!!

you do awesome work, i cant wait to see the full car shots

Glad you were able to remove the bra without any problem

Ed: Thank you so very much for the referral...I called Derek and he was very helpful on removal. It was a slow, careful process but everything came off without a hitch.

What I don't get is why someone with a car like that would not be sure
the finish was perfect prior to having a clear bra installed. Also it doesn't
say much about the people who put the bra on, where they blind or just didn't care? We're not talking about a 72 Dodge Demon here, this is a
farrari 360.

Toto, I love the hood shot! You are the master for darkness! Sorry you didn't have a lift, but it really turned out great so far!
What is that on the side panel? Did it get keyed or is that from the flash?

Toto what tools did you use for all those curves/small areas? If they were smaller it would be literally impossible via machine polishing, pure hand work.

Tonya: that shot is the flash outline of the recess in the side panel. I should have taken a better shot to show the swirling, but that was the only one of the side.

Woob: the small areas are done by hand. There are a few places that machine polishing just won't reach.

Sweet......can't wait to see it when it's "Toto-ized"! I see you hiding in that bumper, now we know your secret----you get in the cars head!!!:buffing:

Tell them to buy that lift. You deserve it. Nice job as always.

Coming right along...finished with the 83 and 106ff today. I'll wash it tomorrow, then apply my LSP

Here's a pretty good indoor shot of the car

I decided to try out the new microfiber apron...works well. I like the pockets and the cord loop really is nice when leaning over this car. BTW....that's a pencil in my t-shirt pocket LOL!

See You All Tomorrow

I agree that is a great indoor shot of the car. I wish I have your skills when it comes to detailing.
