The car is busting my chops! First, I removed the entire front end clear bra.....3 hours of careful work. Then, started polishing the car without a lift. Now, the front end is probably 2" from the shop floor. And, it has to be perfect because the owner is having another clear bra installed when I'm finished. The car has the usual swirls...so a lot of time was spent laying on the cold shop floor polishing. I need to steal that Snap-On lift from the BMW shop!
After removing the clear bra material, this is what the finish looked like...no wonder the owner wasn't happy with the appearance!
After some Meg's 83 and Menz 106
Finished out the hood and front end late today
I'll start attacking this tomorrow:
Then, I'll have some full car pics to display. The interior will be easy. This is a streetable race car and door panels are carbon fiber + rubber floor mats...very basic car interior-wise.
