My wife gave me one of those last year for Christmas. She said she paid US$20 for it. She bought it for our photography studio, and I used it for the first time detailing our new Honda Odyssey. I couldn't have detailed the roof without that platform.
 
Dear Friends

For Autogeek's Black Friday sale I'd love to get a two-bucket wash system, a big boar's hair brush with handle, and a Metro Master Blaster blower.

That stuff costs about US$565 when it's not on sale, and since I'm taking care of only two vehicles, I'd rather not spend that much money.

What's the cheapest anyone has ever seen the big boar's hair brushes offered for?

They have them for $20. Find the ad and look on page 2 and you'll see it.
 
I'm looking for either Panasonic's 65" Plasma or the 70" four color LCD/LED Toshiba.

The problem is with the supply side. Both factories were severely damaged in the spring tsunamis. They not only could not keep up with demand for the current year sets, but were unable to tool up for the new models. Which should have already been on the market for two months.
And both Nikon and Canon had their factories damaged. I was waiting for the follow on camera body from Canon to replace the 5D, but it has been held up for 8 months.

CEE Dog Dude, aren't you the one who has a "collection" of products that would rival the storeroom of AG ? You could have your own black Friday sale !!

I have the 5D Mark II. I ordered it as soon as it was orderable from B&H but didn't begin shooting with it full-time until December 2008. We've shot over 31,000 images with it now. We plan to skip its successor and get the generation after if we have the funds.

I thought Canon's L-series lenses were expensive until I looked at the Nikors.

I'm looking to score a 18-200 or a 70-300 for motorsports but they are out of my price range.

Just picked up a 35mm f/1.8 for $199, the cheapest and by far the most versatile Nikkor lens out there
 
Im going to most likely be looking for a nice camera for my GF. Ive never went out shopping on black friday but im sure im in for a crazy day lol
 
I went to Wal-Mart one year for Black Friday. They had a Black Friday special for flat screen tv's. I wanted to get one for my pops. Well...the store opened and there was a mad dash for the electronics section. They had a line to get in and were only letting 4 people at a time get in. While standing in line I was told that there were only a few of the 11 tv's left available. I continued to stand in line. Next thing you know, you hear all this noise and things dropping and people screaming. Yeah...someone was fighting over the last tv and was being carried out in a stretcher. I turned around and went home. Never again.
