Hello, I am new to the forum and I would like to know if there is anything that can keep black gloss wheels shiny or even take out surface scratches.

I would reccomend poorboys World Pro Polish and then a coat of PB wheel sealant or Collinite #845 Insulator wax.

are they powdercoated gloss black ??? Black Chrome ??? Just painted wheels ??

Each would likely bring different results for potential to polish and correct type of polish. In general a safe wheel cleaner like P21S and DP Wheel Glaze for protection are nice options. Notice I skipped the polish step until we can obtain the type of wheel ...

I like to use the DP Gel Wheel Cleaner with a Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush & Boar's Hair Wheel Brush for cleaning the wheels. To protect my wheels I use the DP Wheel Glaze and the Optimum Opt-Seal. Polishing - Like Killrwheels said are they Powdercoated, Black Chrome or just Painted ?

They are just painted.
Are they cleared?

If so then I would go ahead and use a compound then fallow with a polish then DP Wheel Glaze. The from now on when you wash your well use a boars hair brush. Clean you rims once a month with your favorite rim cleaner. I would recommend Pinnacle or Wolfgang Wheel Cleaner they work great and its not to harsh for the rims, if you dont have the $$ to pay for those wheel cleaners i would go with P21S. (Make sure you test a little section, because most painted wheels can only be cleaned with soap and water) Apply Dp Wheel Glaze on the rims once a month.

PS. Make sure you do a test spot on the rims because you might only have to use a polish to get the results you are looking for.

i too have painted wheels. i am so anal that everytime the car goes out i clean it when i get home with a qd and this goes for the wheels too. once a week i reapply pinnacle souvereign to my wheels. reason is that it brings out such a deep gloss and goes on and off so smoothly in those hard to reach areas. expensive? yes sir, worth it? yes sir.

You must be anal about your wheels. Souveran on wheels, ouch!!Im the MAN

I have fusion wax but I don't want to use that on the wheels. I am goin to polish them and try the DP wheel glaze

I kink of changed my mind on what I wanted to do. I cleaned the wheel with MAGUIRES quick detail spray(since I have so much of it) and polished them with duragloss 105 polish. All I can say is...WOW!!! they look great.
