I know it’s supposed to be a “Jeep thing”, and I do get it, but I still really dislike polishing these vehicles, and I’m sure most detailers will agree. This off road king will be the 2nd vehicle I’ve done for this client now. This vehicle gets used to go to the cabin a lot, seeing its share of bugs, sap, and other harsh elements, so he wanted to get her all polished up, looking good, and then protected with CQuartz Finest. As you can see from the pics, this Jeep required a good amount of polishing to get it back to like new, and with all those tight areas and protruding hinges, not to mention all the trim, this one took a lot of time as well.

Before (Don’t look so bad in the shade)

50/50 shots (some deep RIDS remained)

After with Fenix LED

Thanks for looking,

Wow! Nice jeep (10th annv. rubicon i believe) and fantastic work!

Turned out great!
I agree those suck polishing. It took me forever to finish my girlfriends jku. Consider yourself lucky that one didn't have painted fenders and a hardtop.
What did you use for compound and polish?

Guessing a lot of 3" pads were put to the test for this. Great work!

Thanks! 3", 2", and even some hand polishing was required. ;)

Yep, 10th Annv. :props:

Thanks!

Thanks. Yeah, that would have sucked! Though he is planning on bringing over the hard top next spring, so I'm not that lucky. :D

Great work. They are a PITA indeed, to many knooks and crannies, door hinges with raised nuts, etc so I have to agree they are time killers. Beautiful turnaround again.

You earned your money on that one! :dblthumb2:

I've done a black Wrangler and there are so many small parts to work around and hardly any flat panels to work with that it is pretty time consuming. One of my least favorite vehicles to work on.

My wife wants one of these, but after polishing one, I'm having trouble getting on board with that plan. :bolt:

Kudos to you for excellent work on what I think is a challenging truck! :urtheman:

Looks great - I would bring you my Black JKU any day. PIA indeed

Nice work! Nothing beats a deep shine of clean, properly cared for, black paint!

Great work!

I also don't care for working on these, but the end results and payment makes it gratifying. :xyxthumbs:

The jeep looks awesome! What do you use to hand polish as far as material? Is that how you polished the hinges?
