Greetings,
Hope everyone is well. Need some advice.
I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra ...... there are 2 black plastic grills at the front of the car/engine. There is also a black metal (aluminum ?) cowl between the windshield and hood (intake vent/drainage/windshield wiper area). Also, black metal strips around the windshield and rear glass which are attached to the body that are used as a cover for the rubber glass seals.
These are all faded from sunlight and time. I've tried to use ArmorAll liquid to restore the sheen and darker shade. However, after a couple of days, the effect of the ArmorAll is gone. In eastern NC, we have hot summers ...... high humidity, high ambient temperatures and intense sunshine. I think the ArmorAll is being evaporated ..... literally "boiled off" by the high temperatures the black plastic and metal attain in the summer sun.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a different product to use ?
Also, can anyone recommend a tire black/sheen product that is safe for rubber with a high lemon content ?
Thanks for your time and expertise.
