I detailed this car last week. It's a pretty black metallic and flakes color about 5k miles. It belongs to a fine lady friend of mine. The funny thing is that because her car was new, she was a little apprehensive about me using a buffer. In her own words: "I don't want to swirl the paint"
She goes to a lot of touchless washes, and the dealer had a couple of times "detailed it" for her. Well, after I washed the car, I had to take some before pics, so she could see when the car is cleaned what it really looks like

Process: Prep

-Wash with Duragloss Car wash
-Claybarred with Detailing Dynamics Claybar using Four-Star Clay Lube

Paint Correction:

-Prima Swirl with LC Orange Pad PC at 5 OPM
-Menzerna PO106FF LC Orange Pad quick once over at 5 OPM
-IPA 50/50 Wipedown
-Prima Amigo/RMG 8:2 mix LC White Pad 4.5 OPM
-Rejex Sealant LC Black Pad at 5 OPM

Interior:

No pics of the interior. Car is pretty new, so I did clean the leather seats with Lexol Cleaner, and conditioner. The dash and vynil with PB NL

Wheels/Tires:

Black Magic Tire Wet Shine
JW Prime to clean wheels, topped with Rejex Paint Sealant
Black Trim: Wizards Black Renew
Windows: Wiped with Stoners IG, and topped with Rejex Sealant
Wiper Blades: conditioned with 303 Wiper Blades Conditioner :)

Thank you. I also must say that the clearcoat on the Saab was on the medium side. The defects came out without much work. I'm used to do a lot of vettes, and fbodies. It was nice to work on a friendlier clearcoat for a change

its nice to see multiple products at use, coming together to make one fine and super reflective finish.

Nice detail! The saab is a good car to work with!

Thanks. The clearcoat is great to work with. It's not as hard as I thought

Great job! It looks like someone had keyed the car.
Thanks Gary. It looks like it was keyed, but that's actually the clearbra line. Besides the swirls, the car had a scratch about an inch long on the hood you can see on the second pic. It's about 12" in front of the wiper fluid little thing

Thanks Scott!

I'm a fan of Saab, I love the 9-3 sedan with sport wheels, very sharp looking car, just wish it had more power.
