Hand sanding high spots to see what we have to work with.

Certified installers in house to assist full time.

Prepping the surface to drop clear coat in the really bad fish eyes.

The Sacrificial rag... the microfibers like to solvent streak with industrial chemicals. So this will be the one time use rag.

Taking notes of where we had clear coat dropped. We basicaly repeated this on every panel.

Wooled out. Now polishing.

More polishing, lights on to make sure we dont miss anything!

Surface prep, clean clean clean!

All the panels are looking great. Now the paint is left to rest and unswell from the work out. Tomorrow we'll start cleaning and coating it. Can't wait to see the results.

KoshiL, when you say drop clear in are you applying a drop of clear into the low fish eye? Was the car repainted? Once the clear dries did you have to wet sand again? That black is looking nice man!

Yes yes and yes. I used the wax and grease remover to prep before using touch up clear. I could only save clear coat eyes not base coat fish eyes.

Spot sanded with 2000 by hand, this is where the circles come in handy. Then air da it at 3000 area, and 5000 grit the hood to texture match everything. We let it cure for almost a week!
