can u clay black trim before sealing? has anyone used wg exterior trim sealant?

Are you talking about textured trim or smooth? Yes you can clay it, there is just some chance of getting clay residue in the texture depending.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant (WETS) is great stuff.

I know smooth trim you can clay with no issues though if its textured prepare yourself to be removing clay spec's but when it's textured just stick to apc/soap and various stiff bristle brushes

Pick up some Mothers Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner. Works great on trim.

If it's rubber trim, I wouldn't clay on that. Meguiars #39 works very well.
