Black Turbo - Just a few pictures

It's a clients of mine, I built it for him and he has yet to drive it, let alone sit in it. He's been out of the country for almost a year now.

It's Speed Yellow, price not sure just yet, it has just a few miles on it.

Very Nice Anthony. I like speed yellow. I would definitely have to sell my Gallardo to buy a GT2 at this time. I love the Gallardo but I must say that the Lambo dealers in Florida really suck. Their poor service is the only thing that makes me want to sell the car sometimes.

Swirls and marring after 2500 miles...sometimes you wonder if these guys take a new Porsche out and drive it through a hedgerow or something. [probably a brush & swirl car wash ;) ]

VERY nice work.

Im loving this thread and these sexy ass cars! =)

question on the black turbo, is the clear bra as noticable in person as it is in the pics? and how do you clean/maintain it?

Hello and thank you :)

Actually the marring, most likely, came from the dealer and their car washers. I have seen first hand from many high end dealers just how horrible their prep is.

Wash mitts and chamois laying on the ground and used on cars...cars washed with brushes, dirty water and buffed out with wool pads and abrasive compounds.

So most of the time even before the new owner picks up their "show room" car the finish is far from "show room" but your average car buyer has no clue about what a finish should look like.

......and I love detailing them:righton:......ok back to serious....

It is noticeable but different colors show it more, like blacks and reds. Silvers and yellow show very little of the film.

You care for it in the same manner as paint except you want to use less abrasive products. I polish them with an orbital, finishing pad and UltraFina.

I then use OCW on them so as to not create a build up of wax on the edges.
