What's the best product for wheels. I just started using Collilite 845 and seems work pretty well. Willing to try other recommendations.

I've used 845 and megs #21. I don't think it lasted very long. I might be wrong. So I recently coated them with carpro dlux

I suppose it depends on your driving conditions. Hydro2 is a sprayed, silica-based sealant. From what I understand, yes. But marginally I think.

I would go with a coating for long-term (1-yr+) effects.

DP wheel coating works pretty good. Good durability

For ease of use, hydro2. Recently got some and used it on my paint and wheels. Been on there for about 1.5 months now, so far so good. My wheels are matte black. Pretty sure it would last longer than a wax on wheels also.

For arguments sake, let's just say that any wax and Hydro2 have the same amount of durability...you will save SO much time using Hydro2, which made it worth it to me.

Usually not a fan of black but those rims looks awesome on that red....man it really would look awesome with tinted windows.

I've gotten over 5 months on my wheels using hydr02. And I drive my car hard. Long term, I would coat them with a product like CQ Dlux.

It's actually competition orange. Wasn't planning on black wheels but loved the color combination.Windows will be tinted in the spring!

The black wheels n my 2012 Corvette Centennial have posed a real challenge with brakendust. Recently I used Poor Boys Wheel Sealant and have been absolutely amazed at the results. Before using the product a 40 mile trip would result in obvious dust on the wheels. After using the product the same trip reveals hardy any brake dust on a white rag. I apply it very sparingly weekly and am very satisfied with the product.

First off, congrats on the brand new GT w/ Trac-Pak:thumbup:

I see nothing wrong with #845 on those wheels but what you REALLY need is some Meg's DUB wheel cleaner! Between the aggressive brake pads and all the nooks and crannies of the wheels, nothing works better for the price!

Same here with brake dust. 845 wipes off pretty easy(weekly application as well.) Does Poor Boys come off easy?

Thanks! As often as I wash the wheels, car wash soaps are working fine. Those nooks and crannies are a pain in the @ss!!!

Poor Boys is removed VERY easily. Initially I polished the wheels and then applied three very sparing coats of Poor Bpys. Inremoved the last coat after 24 hours. No problem. I am really impressed with this product for my situation.
