Blackfire BlackICE

I was out of town for a week after I applied BFBI on the TSX during that week a bird took what I call a "Taco Bell Dump" it was dried and baked by the sun. I sprayed ultima WW and let it sit for a minute and wiped right off. Insecpted paint and no etching....

I am definitely not asking you to try but I would be interested in how BFBI protected after a couple of days of that bird bomb.

I just think this part is very important and especially with people with white cars. Because its can be difficult to discover that bird bomb unless you look for it.

I have a black car and I missed a bird bomb on my roof one time and was left on for a day. Luckily, no etching took place.

Right but I just confirmed it. Lets me honest who on this forum is going to leave bird crap on their car. As soon as I see it I clean it. On my TSX it was their for days and only reason is cause I was not home to clean it up.

Thanks as this is the type of info that I am personally curious to.
I wasn't sure because in your original post you did not mention how long the bird poop was on your car.

I am sure no one on AG would but I have seen plenty of cars on the road with bird poop that looks like it has been there for days.

Yeah, it has a sealant component to it (if I recall its a "hybrid" like Fuzion, a "sealant wax") so its likely hard to remove. Sealants are a lot harder to remove than "wax". CG Citrus just won't take that off. Neither will Dawn. It may change the beading characteristics, but its still there

But, I would have skipped the abrasives and went to a paint cleaner, or a safer product like muriatic acid (j/k - please don't try that).

:iagree:

Well Roshan, I think this is one of the best "commercials" that AG could have hoped for! I see BlackICE in my near future... :D I only wish they could throw a free refill in the deal...

Just pulled the trigger on a tub! :surrender:

All this peer pressure got to me

Probably could've used a paint cleaner but ran out of that :( m205 on gray pad was next best thing.
