Hi just ordered this kit and anxiously waiting for it but have a few questions before I apply it on a red car and yellow car.

I have read that waxing after this is worthless because not much will stick to it or any detailer.
Therefore what is the best shampoo to use afterwards to wash car and maintain product?I have some ONR and meguires gold class are these ok? Also will get in my kit the BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo which I guess would be the best but hard to find here locally once finished. Or what do others suggest?

I also ordered a foam cannon will the soap stick to this finish or just glide right off? Car gets dirty fast where I live therefore would like to use as a pre-wash.

Do I use the product on the hood protector film installed on the car?

My steps will be
Wash and dry
Clay
Polish using meguires ultimate polish also ordered the 7424xp DA polisher
Use Crystal Coat Paint Prep
and finally Crystal Coat
 
You should be able to find Duragloss 901 locally (Carquest usually carries it). I would think you would still be able to use something like BF Midnight Sun Instant Detailer after a 2BM as a drying aid. I use BF Polymer Spray after a rinseless...wonder if that would be recommended after coating?
 
Stay within the family. Their products are designed to work together. Best advice I was ever given.

First off Welcome to the Autogeek forums :xyxthumbs:

No need to wax after..just enjoy the melted glass look.

The best for washing - Keeping the same product line together is always good. You can buy more BF from autogeek anytime. The ONR you have is also a great product.

You will have fun with the foam cannon and it will work great even with the coating. I completely covered a blk vette coated with BF crystal coat.

Yes you can put the coating over the PPF.

In your steps, normally iron x would be used after washing. The polish you have is a light polish and if the paint is not perfect you may need to also get a compound. Good Luck and have fun!
