I picked some of this up, and tried it on my dark gray f150. After it cured, I can still see areas that look like large smudges, which is the best way to describe it. It almost has the look of dried wax, and I don't know why. After I applied it very thin, I could see it flash, but some areas never flashed away? It almost looks as though it's where the MF applicator doubled over onto other areas. What did I do wrong? I tried to take pics, but I couldn't get them to show it.

If you see in the video I keep spreading beyond flashing. Try that or you could try taking a mf applicator and just lightly buffing off the high spots.
Proper spreading beyond the flashing is key imo.
I used this for the first time a few days ago, after watching the video. Wow was this easy, even for a novice like myself. I had no streaking even on the glass. It looks great and best of all my Equinox doesn't seem to be gathering dust/dirt like it was.
Thanks for doing the videorops: My Blackfire Crystal Seal has been sitting on the shelf for a long time, because I was worried about messing something up.
That would be my problem then. I applied it with the assumption that less wiping the better. I'll try it the way you did in the video. Thanks for the help!rops:
