Just testing out some Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray over some 3 week old Megs Gold Class Carnauba Wax.

Have you "tested" any other spray's and how does Blackfire look compare to them?

Thanks guys for the encouragement! I've tried a few QD's (Megs Ultimate, FK #425, and Poorboys), Mother's Reflections Spray Wax, and the Blackfire. The Blackfire is really in a class of its own in terms of slick and wet look. It's also alot more expensive. I use it in a 4 oz pump srayer on a clean car not as a dust remover. As far as QD's go, I really like the Fk #425. It leaves the car looking something similar to the Blackfire but not nearly with as much depth.
 
looks good ..... another nice spray wax for use over Carnauba's specifically is Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax. I recently got some Blackfire and looking forward to it too.
 
Todd Helme said that Blackfire spray sealant and Megs UQW have almost identical looks so when you run out you can use that instead.
 
Looks beautiful! I had a Black 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 years ago and it was a challenge to keep clean.

Looking forward to trying some of the Blackfire products.

Thanks for your comments and product suggestions. The Blackfire is suuposed to have an extended longevity by virtue of its polymer technology and Polycharger. I'll let you know if that's fact or fiction.

oh wow. i just used bfdgss today for the first time. on top of prexisting duragloss. awesome. cant get any easier. my favorite spray wax is megs UQW. so i would agree with todd's comment.

also used griots spray on wax for first time on my truck. was not as happy with it. applied it on while drying and lots of streaking. took extra steps to clear off. it ended up rather messy and i may top with bf or megs to clean it up. maybe it was the cold air temp was the reason. not gonna give up on it. will try it on dry paint and when the warmer weather returns. got too much to put it aside (bogo).

anyone else have similar issues with griots SOW?

i think bfdgss and megs uqw work great in the colder temps. does optimum car wax and aquawax work well in cold?
 
That looks fantastic. I keep telling my wife that my mid-life crisis car will be a Mustang (mid 40s now with twins). Your car and wheel combination looks stunning. Now back to my metallic boring Toyota.....

Ford has done a great job with these, there's definitely a reason the mustang never took a production hiatus for almost 50 years. I'm a big F-body guy but these new Mustangs are my preferred choice over the Challengers or Camaros. Maybe I'll start saving for a 50th anniversary 2014 GT
