I'm wanting to try the blackfire ice over fire combo for my next detail I do to my 01 Passat my question is how many of you use it? What kind of results can I get and what's the cure times for both? This detail project on my car is going to be fairly huge.

It's a really nice combo. I tried the wax once over the sealant and it looked great. Dark colors were deep, light colors glossy and shiney, metallics popped. I use BF all finish sealant a lot and get about 4 months before it fails on a outside 24/7 car. Beads are tight and they roll right off the paint. Best part is that if the beads dry up in the sun they don't leave those annoying little dirt rings on the paint from beads drying.

That's good to hear I just want to take the shine on my car a higher level I have not seem may videos on this combo only pictures.. When I go to car shows or car meets I want my car to stand out the best it possably can.

If you want to get more longevity out of BFWD, put 2 coats of BFCS on top (12+ hours after BFWD and 1 hour in between BFCS coats). Then wait another 24 hours and you can add the wax on.

My plan is to apply the sealant wait 8 he's for to cure then once buffed off apply the wax and see if I'll love the results..does BF make a glaze just wondering cause I would like to go in order glaze, sealant, wax

Apply the sealant, let it haze for an hour, then buff it off. Then let it bond for 12 hours per the instructions iirc. Don't let it get wet during that 12 hour period.

The instructions say 12 hours I believe, but overnight has always been fine for me.

I let the sealnt dry for 40 minutes, wipe off and put the MS Wax on and wipe off one panel at a time, no waiting.

I have a question when I use the combo can I top it with crystal seal or no

I just wasn't sure if I could use it by itself or top it on BFWD but thank you for the information

Do you park your car in a vacuum? Unless the air is cleaner in South Jersey than the rest of the world, your sure to get dirt rings after a rain and when the sun dries up the beads. If there is a product (wax/sealant/coating/or any combination) you would have a million dollar formula or product.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. I thought the question was if you can top BFWD/Midnight Sun combo with CS. If so, the answer is no. If you want to top BFWD with CS, the answer is yes.
