Blackfire SRC finishing polish

I've been debating between blackfire and wolfgang to for my 2014 black accord. Is the blackfire SRC finishing polish a one step polish, meaning on a newer black car with swirls is this protect abrasive enough with white pad to remove the light swirls (typical on a black car) or do I need to do the blackfire SRC compound first or the wolfgang duo? I will be using a DA polisher to apply.

I would say if your swirls aren't too bad, yes it should be fine with a polishing pad. IME, working on Honda, Toyota and Subaru paint that isn't hammered, a finishing polish (BFFP, SF4000) and polishing pad are all you'll need. If have any deeper rids, you might want to grab some compound.

Either Finishing polish can be used as a one step on a white pad.

I would also recommend getting the corresponding compound in the event the one step listed above does not meet your expectations. That way you have on hand what you may need.

I have no experience with polishing a Honda, but on hard, black VW paint, it's only good for eliminating only the lightest swirls and clay bar marring.

It produces a great finish and has a really long working time. For softer paint, it may be just what you're looking for.

That's the exact combo I use on my black Jeep Grand Cherokee for the yearly cleanup. The paint is medium hard and it knocks out all swirls. A few rids may take a stronger pad or boosting to a compound but you should get 90-95% correction on a one step.

I've read here that Honda and Toyota paint is softer so it may work better for you.
