whats sup guys, after alot of researching i decided to go with black fire gloss polish and all paint protector....their wax was too costly 70$, so im searching for an carnuba alternative....i was thinking of the p21s concourse wax to apply after the wet diamond all paint protector

i read where you dont need a wax after the protector but still

i have a black infinity qx56

im new so i sorry if i post it in the wrong section

thanks for any help in advance

Welcome!

Meguiars M26 yellow carnauba wax is a very good wax for the price. Really made the red on my truck pop. It's available in both liquid and paste form.

Wolfgang fuzion, a forum favorite, is also a great wax. Spreads like butter, buffs off with ease and leaves great looks. I used that on black paint and the depth was amazing.

Also may want to look into dodo juice waxes, the panel pot size can be had for around 13 so you can try out a couple to see what you like.

As long as you polish your paint before hand and remove most defects the wax you pick won't matter too much.

Welcome, I think the p21s wax is a good choice. Perhaps meguiars ultimate paste wax?

There are quite a few at or less than $50

Off the top of my head Collinite and Poorboys both have excellent products.

You may find you like a sealant for longevity and "look"
I like the look of Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP

DPs max wax is a great option for under 50$, all the above options are also great. I use the BF Midnight Sun wax and its worth the money when used with all of their products.

Wolfgang Fuzion 3oz, you will get 15 coats out the small container, goes on super thin and easy.

DP Max Wax, CG Pete's 53, Pinnacle XMT 180 Paste, too many great ones to name! You could also get a sample jar of BFMS, should last you many applications, goes on smooth so not too much product is used.

Anybody else have an issue with hazing left behind that is a huge pain to remove from Blackfire Midnight Sun wax on a black truck?

I've never had any issues like that, perhaps you're applying it too thick, literallyy one to two swipes of the pot should cover a panel, at least in my experience.:dblthumb2:

I love P21S but it does not last long at all. Collinite #915 is what I would recommend for the $$

I like Blackfire Wet Diamond a lot. Sometimes I use Meguiars Gold class
Spray Wax after a wash which gives it a little different look.

I just used Blackfire on my blue Camry Sat. and got amazing results! Sunday I decided I wanted to put a paste over top also, I used Poorboys Natty Blue and it came out awesome, I'll see how the water beads on it tomorrow.

Sent from my DROID X2 using AG Online

You be happy with BFWD. Super slick. I've topped my truck with Liquid Souvern after BFWD, awesome finish.
