Blackfire Wet Diamond

I don't really use any other sealants besides BFWD these days. It's just pros in all categories. Can't think of a single con. Here's my Mustang with some BFWD from last weekend.

I still have a ton of Wolfgang, Klasse, and Meg's NXT, but after I use them up I think I'm set on Blackfire for show cars and DP Poli-Coat for daily drivers.

I would also recommend the BF tire gel . Finally I get the deep shiny black that i like.

Excellent choices Mike!

Have you tried Four Star UPP yet?

:iagree:Just got this a little while ago and love it. This, their Spray Gloss and WD will be keeping me a Blackfire fan for quite some time. Now I just need to save my pennies to spring for a tin of Midnight Sun!

As the owner of that Camaro - It still looks this way!:xyxthumbs:
We used it for one of our "Autogeek's Car of the Week" projects, came out quite nicely...

I've used BFWD over CG Ez creme glaze and the shine was epic!

will applying cqartz or opticoat affect the shine of this product?

Using Cq or OC needs completely bare paint stripped of all the sealant, polishing oils etc. for proper bonding!! Personally, I wouldn't use bfwd over cq or OC!

I just put down a layer of BFWD on my 2011 Edge. Absolutely thrilled with the ease of application and removal, especially since its 45* outside right now. It took literally no time at all using my PC which was a real treat compared to my typical hand application.

Highly recommend it for ease alone!

Nope, I've not. I've got so much stuff.......I think I'm good on waxes and sealants for many years to come. I'd like to try Opti-Coat at some point, but first I want to use up what I've got.

After reading everything you guys posted on this product how long do you think the price will go the way of the Midnight sun from $60 to $80 and I can see Wet Diamond follow same strategy from $30. to $50.
My opinion only!

I have to admit, I have been holding off on this line for a while, however I am starting too weaken by all the glossy images.

So basically finish polish, wet diamond, then wax? Is that It Feed back please

Thanks!

I don't see it increasing in price too much. Unlike with waxes, sealants seem to have somewhat of a roof with regards to their price (right where WGDGPS is, at $40). If they increase the price of BFWD, most likely they'll have to also increase the price of DGPS (to maintain its placement as their premiere synthetic line), and if they do, I don't doubt that Menzerna Powerlock and Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection will suddenly become vastly more popular (and I've heard that Sonus SFX-4 Paint Sealant is also a very similar product...).

Be sure to wait 12 hours to let the polymers cross link before waxing.
