Does this lable have any connection to Pinnacle in terms of manufacture or research? A review I just read about this product seems to link the product with the chemists that developed or helped develop the Pinnacle Souveran line. If it does have a connection, is it a line AG may be incorporating soon?

I'm sure someone from AG will chime in on this thread, but in the mean time . . .

My understanding is that Blackfire is a brand owned by Classic Motoring Accessories. CMA and PBMA (Autogeek's parent company) used to be partners in the Pinnacle brand. Recently Max bought out CMA's interest in Pinnacle so it is now 100% owned by PBMA.

So, if Blackfire is owned by CMA and CMA was an original partner in Pinnacle then it's entirely possible that the same chemists have worked on both brands.

I Like the name anyway......BlackFire Wet Diamond:)

I thought some of the Blackfire stuff was versions of Menzerna stuff, or at least I think I read that on another site? Either way, Blackfire products have been getting great reviews.

:iagree:

Well most of it .... it is highly unlikely that the chemist is the same person, but could be someone that was helpful in the "original" design of Pinnacle. Remember most of the additions to Pinnacle were done by Max. Polishes, XMT line, leather care, and all other additions were exclusively designed and manufactured for Max.

Surfer, CMA and Menzerna do have a working agreeement. Menzerna makes the ceramiclear polishes for CMA, and CMA makes the sealant, acrylic spritz, and car wash for Menzerna.
