Bleach and WD 40 Better then compound and Wax !?

i suggest you stop what your doing immedietly and read alot more, it might help if you post pictures, but i would have a detailer spend alot of time on it to get it looking near perfect then read alot here and maintain it perfectly. Might help to state a location of where you are so detailers here would know what area you are in. If your just learning how to detail id just break down get it done professionally then read alot more. Good luck

so the OP does all this to the car, then plans to sell it on craigs...and the unsuspecting next owner of the car does not know the damage that has been done...

Finally some Pic's so the professionals can evaluate my work:

@rock012345
as you see the work actually didn't leave any damages but the paint looks probably the best in years ,despite the heavy work on the paint and the household cleaners to get the sap off.
The Car which is going on craigslist, is actually this honda :

which i used the WD40 on to make the pealed of pains spots shiny to make them blend in more with the rest of the paint, since I'm sure there is on restoring possible on the paint ... what do you guys think ?

Back to the actual topic .... Since I didn't feel like buying more professional products today, I used my ultimate cleaner WD40 again for the the plastic , rubber parts and also for the convertible top. Pretty easy good results but like I know not what people here in this Forum like. What do you guys use for Plastic and rubber parts ? Is there a good cleaner for all that I can also maintain the top with or to you guys recommend a separate product for everything ?

Back to the topic ... the WD40 makes makes the top look brand new doesn't it? ( in some of the pictures before, you can see how the black was a little faded)

The Chrome Rims look pretty clean in the picture when the sun hit them, but they not perfect. ( cleaned with CLR Bath and Kitchen Cleaner )
What are you guys cleaning your Rims with ?

From the photos the car cleaned up nicely. :props:

While WD40 is a good product and household name, I'd leave its use limited to the areas of recommendation on the can. Did you really spray the cloth top with WD40? Concerns here would be material degradation and fire..

An all purpose paint solvent that works great on removing sap, tar, waxes, sealants, oils, grease etc is Klean Strip Perp-All. This is available over the counter at many parts stores or paint supply houses.
