Bleaching MF?

I got some 550GSM MF towels that are pretty good and I intend on using these for my rinseless wash. Only problem here is that the towel is a rather a dark blue and I can't really see the dirty very well. So I was considering bleaching it. Any ill effects of bleaching MF towels?

Is there a safe way to get the color dye out of MF?

You can try using some ammonia in the wash cycle. You can also try hot water although over time this too starts to degrade MF materials. I usually wash in warm water with a liquid detergent and add a little ammonia to boost if necessary.

Bleach causes lint & fabric softener will kill the absorbent ability of the MF.

Only other option. Get lighter color MF and use those for other surfaces.
