Hi guys, ive been trolling the forums here for a while so thought i'd join and show some polishing results once its done.
I have a 1989 Holden Commodore SS V8 which I just had resprayed metallic grey.
(you're all probably thinking WTF is that)

Since its fresh paint, I will wait 1 month or so for the toxins to 'evaporate' from the fresh paint then I will be using:

Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite Cleaner Glaze
Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish
Klasse HGSG (2coats -1 day apart)
Collinite 915 (2 coats - 1 right after the other)

I only drive the car on sundays, so hopefully the sealant/wax combo will last near 1 year from what ive read on here.

This is results from all meguiars products previously.(cleaner/polish/wax)

This is the new paint, so far untouched:

Hopefully ill get time to post up the results in a couple of weeks when I polish it up and get some real 'beading' going..

Welcome to Autogeek!! You are welcome to share all things detailing but we must ask that you do not share the Vegemite!! :)

its a VN SS , the colour is called 'Atlas grey' , looks good mate , needs a hsv grill to finish it off !!!!!

This is true^
Thanks fellas. I can see the caprice resemblence, since GM is Holden in australia it is understandable that its similar in shape.

So far ive only had time to do the steps as described in post#1 for the bonnet, bumper and front guards, looks pretty good...the rest of the car will hopefully get done on sunday if I find time.

I couldnt find many photo's of these products im using being shown on silver/grey paint so hopefully it turns out well.

Porsche Pilot: I hate vegemite, i wouldn't even use it to blacken/clean my tyres haha

i'll put up my collection for you to look at mate .... think i'll start a new thread though .... theres a few !!!!!

yeah ive been to a few c4c's..will be at vic in october.
