Seafair weekend in Seattle means the Blue Angels will be flying above, I took these from work... enjoy...

You have some great pictures. I am lucky, I get to see them in Annapolis every May. That are a sight to see.
 
I've seen them several times...always awe-inspiring. I remember the first time was 1972 and they were flying F4 Phantoms...THAT aircraft rumbled across the sky! There was no mistaking the thunder they created. When they were coming down the runway on take-off the ground shook...then they whipped past going wheels up. Impressive is such an insufficient description.

The sound of those jet engines is the sound of freedom!!!
 
Those guys and those machines definitely make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. I'm 47 and not a lot impresses me anymore, but no matter how many times you see them you feel like a wide eyed kid seeing em for the first time. With everything else going on it makes you stick your chest out a bit at being American. Those guys are awesome. Thanks for the picks.
 
Those are some beautiful pics! I wish i didn't miss Seafair this year :mad:. Seafair '06 I videoed a couple Hydroplane's pit crews as they prepared/raced. Getting paid to hang out in the pits the whole weekend was awesome!
 
Always have been a big fan of the Blue Angels. Nice pics.
