When LFC ( aka. Prineel) booked his BMW 135i with me , I learnt that he takes very good care of the car himself. Knowing this makes the detail fun, simply because I know the car will be kept in the condition it's in when it leaves my place.
Wednesday Morning:
I started off by cleaning the interior, which wasn't very dirty really. Prineel asked me to look at his SatNav screen for him which wasn't looking all that good ( notice before pics , the purple corners on the screen ). After some research and few calls ( thank you to Naeem ( Absolu Car Care ) and Lawrence ), I had enough courage to clean it up. After the Interior was done I moved to the Engine Bay. Again not dirty , but did appreciate the love !! Thereafter I cleaned wheels and wheel arches , washed and decontaminated the car for the rest of the day.
Thursday Morning:
I gave the car a wash and dry to remove any overnight dust on it. I got out my polisher and did test spots. I quickly learned that it would take me all of 4 passes to remove swirls and leave the paint in a condition that I am satisfied with. BMW has an extremely hard clearcoat , ALOT harder than I had thought. I polished the whole car 4 times and only finished my correction at around 4h30 the afternoon. I then sealed it up with Menz PL and finished up cleaning all the trims , tires etc before pulling the car out to snap pics before night fell.
After the pics I tucked the car into the garage as Prineel would only come to fetch it at 8pm !!
Onto the pics:
