Great results! That white looks as if its still wet paint.
Hood, grill, emblem shot is nice.
 
When did BMW have the emblem color change, or is it aftermarket?

Its aftermarket. You can get vinyl stickers that that cover up the roundel slices or buy custom made roundels in any color you want.

I'll be doing this to a '97 318ti in Calypso Red with appx. 140k miles. Never been detailed! Will post before and after when I get it in my possession.
